Lasercutter

What was to be my most ambitious project to date has now been aside until shipping costs stop with the insanity or until I GET RICH QUICK NO SCAM 100%.
Uni let me use a laser cutter strictly for course related work. So I used it as much as I could for anything but that. When I got caught red handed, the big button was pushed and I had to go go gadget take my shit and leave. Was back next week to finish with unhealthy level of anxious vigilance for anyone trying to interrupt my work again. I had made it.
And then, minor was done, I could laser no more cuts but still had many imaginary cuts that i wanted to laser in the real world. Since buying one was prohibitively expensive, all that was left was to design one from the ground up and make it myself.
That way I could save money, have some fun, learn a ton and have something to flex with afterwards. So that is when all this began.
1 Minute Video Summary
To make this biggy project cognitively digestible i divided the total project in smaller ones.

LAALla talk about frame start etc.

Frame

Yess, starting with the frame. The inner frame to be more specific. Because i did not have any exact dimensions, design is made parametric to be able to change it later on. Weldment design made in solidworks to get a feel of what it will look like and to get me a palette on which i could work out the details.
Rendered, printed and drew over some ideas on how to proceed. Using 2020 and 2040 aluminum extrusion locally grown in the Netherlands.
